Fort Stockton will honor its veterans this Monday, November 11, with a day full of special events and ceremonies to commemorate Veterans Day. Organized by the Pecos County Veterans Service Office and American Legion Post 0234, the festivities invite veterans, their families, and the community to come together to show gratitude and respect for those who have served.

After Election Day on November 5, and as of Wednesday morning, Pecos County’s voting results were quite clear. Please note that these are unofficial results which were updated on Wednesday morning from the official Texas Election Night Secretary of State website and Pecos County election officials and will be updated with the official results at a later time.

The Pecos County Commissioners Court convened for its regular session on Monday, October 28, at the County Courthouse in Fort Stockton. The agenda covered various matters concerning community services, county budget allocations, and upcoming public events.

At its regular meeting on Monday, October 28, the Fort Stockton City Council issued a proclamation recognizing November 11, 2024, as Veterans Day. Mayor Paul Casias signed the proclamation, calling on all residents to honor the nation’s veterans who have served and sacrificed in conflicts worldwide.
