Glitzy's Brew, 1101 W. Dickinson in Fort Stockton will play host to a candidate meet-and-greet at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. Any candidate running for office in the March 5, 2024 election is welcome to attend.

Fort Stockton Community announces four upcoming performances that you won’t want to miss. It was FSCT’s vision in building The Nelson Street Theatre and renovating the old theatre to be able, not only to enhance local productions, but also to bring guest performers to a stage that is technically up to date with a good lighting and sound system. FSCT has lined up Spring performances that will put a spring in your step. Plan to laugh, be amazed, and tap your toes at Fort Stockton Community Theatre.

Every year the Ministerial Alliance hosts a time for food, a devotional, and fellowship each week during Lent. Join us each Tuesday during Lent at 11:45 a.m. as we participate in these community Lenten Luncheons: Feb. 20 - St. Stephens and First Presbyterian, at 1st Presbyterian Church; Feb. 27 - Believer’s Fellowship and Immanuel Baptist, at Believer’s Fellowship; March 5 - First Baptist at First Baptist; March 12 -Methodist and First Christian; March 19 - Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.

Ash Wednesday services at Presbyterian Church

Ash Wednesday will be observed at First Presbyterian Church Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary at 2nd and Oklahoma. The entire community is invited to join us as we begin the observance of Lent with worship including the imposition of ashes. This is one of the most meaningful services of the church year.
