An upset was brewing in Pantherland on Friday during the early stages of a heated rivalry between Fort Stockton and Monahans. Or so it seemed when the first quarter ended and the Panthers were ahead 14-9.

Two members of last year’s Fort Stockton football team were selected to the Padilla Poll 4A Division II All-State Teams according to a news release that was revealed on Jan. 24.
