Our beloved Hilda R. Mendias was called home by our heavenly father on Tuesday, Feb.  21, 2023.

Hilda was born in Littlefield, Texas on April 18, 1953. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Domingo and Clara Rascon. Survived by her siblings, Delma and Sam (deceased) Delgado, Edwina and Ramon Ybarra, Domingo and Jamie Rascon, and family.

Lilia “Lilly” Gonzalez, 62, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Feb. 11, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. 

A visitation will take place on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, from 12-7 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N. Main Street, Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at People Church of Fort Stockton with burial to follow at East Hill Cemetery. Pastor Victor Lopez of People Church will be officiating.

Morris Gregg Brannon, 83, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Feb. 13, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, with Pastor Kevin Johnson of Apostolic Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.

June Sheppard Cobb went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022. She was born on Nov. 22, 1932, in Houston, Texas. She was the third child of Henry Cecil “Bunk” and Margie Sheppard. She attended Abilene Christian College where she met her husband and love of her life, Chuck Cobb, in 1953. June was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.

Sharon Alice Grittman, 77, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 at her home. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 from 12-3 p.m. at the VFW #4876 in Altus, Oklahoma. Local arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Blake Everett Graves

Blake Everett Graves went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023 in McCamey, Texas. He was born on Dec. 10, 1982 in Odessa, Texas. He grew up in West Texas and Phoenix, Arizona and excelled in sports. He was a standout athlete in many sports including football, baseball, hockey, wrestling, softball, and golf. He also loved to water ski and snowboard. He earned many distinctions in sports as he was “All City” in wrestling and “All-District” in football. Adding to his athlete prowess, he was a wild steer saddling champion five years running in the World Championship Barbados Cookoff in Rankin, Texas.
