David Bebbington is a British historian perhaps best known for his study of British evangelicalism. Although a loose, decentralized Christian movement, in the 1980s Bebbington developed a framework for defining evangelicalism around four points—now referred to as the Bebbington quadrilateral. Simply put, Bebbington defined evangelicals by what they say they believe.

FSISD Board of Education Reviews Football Stadium Plans

The Fort Stockton Independent School District (FSISD) Board of Education convened a special meeting on Thursday, January 30, at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room located at 101 W Division. The meeting, led by Board President Flo Garcia, addressed several critical agenda items, including the high school football stadium project, a potential refunding bond election, and updates on HB-3 goals.

Special Olympics Secures Victory

The Fort Stockton Special Olympics basketball team made a triumphant showing at the Area 18 Basketball Tournament in Midland, securing two victories in a best-of-three series while being supported by local law enforcement. The tournament, which featured a unified team from Midland to provide greater competition, saw Fort Stockton rise to the challenge and showcase their skill, determination, and teamwork.
