Letter to the Editor, Many of us take so many things for granted. We flip a switch, and we have electricity, we adjust a thermostat, and we have heat/AC.

The Fort Stockton Prowler basketball teams tipped off their district season with a trio of games against the Seminole Maidens at home on January 3. The matches marked the start of a new year and the beginning of district play, but the day proved challenging for the Prowlers as they fell short across all levels.

The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball teams entered 2025 with a slate of competitive matchups, demonstrating both resilience and room for growth as they navigated a tough stretch of games.

The Fort Stockton Blue Wave Swim Team made a big splash at the Andrews Invitational over the weekend, showcasing their growth and determination in a challenging two-day meet against teams ranging from Class 4A to 6A schools.
