PECOS– Six months ago, team roping heeler Zane Pratt was recovering from a serious injury His right thumb got caught up in a coil of his rope. He suffered a broken thumb. It could have been worse. He had to get it fixed, then rehabilitated. It took time to get back to team roping again. He just returned to competition, and it’s already playing off. He and his header, Roan Oldfield, won the West of the Pecos team roping title while wrapping up the final performance of the “World’s First Rodeo” on Saturday night.
