The Pecos County Commissioners Court held its regular meeting on Monday, June 10. Three young women of the 4-H Senior team, attended the meeting to present their experience from the State Round-Up Competition in College Station.
The Fort Stockton City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 10. One of the most prominent points of discussion during this meeting was regarding the Comanche Spring Project.
The aptly named “Oldest House” adobe ruins is what remains of what has been long been identified as the oldest house in Fort Stockton. Likely dating back to the founding of Camp Stockton in 1858, it is located at 601 S. Nelson Street.
