With the opening of general mule deer season on the horizon, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is working to inform hunters and landowners in West Texas about chronic wasting disease and the rules implemented to reduce the risk of spread.

He entered this world on Aug. 26, 1936, in Iraan, Texas, born to Donald and Dorothy Bailey.

Visitation and rosary were held on Nov. 3, 2021, at Heritage funeral home in Fort Stockton. Funeral services were Nov. 4, 2021, at St. Joseph’s church in Fort Stockton. Arrangements were by Heritage Funeral Home.
Rafael Gilberto Sanchez, 48, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Oct. 24, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.
Visitation is Nov. 1-2, 2021, followed by the Rosary at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton.
