Samuel Brent Franklin died unexpectedly at his home in Fort Stockton, Texas, on March 13, 2022. Sam was born September 3, 1989, and his survived by his wife Rhonda; his sons Maurice and Mason; his daughter Nyliah of Fort Stockton; his mother Renee Parson; his sister Addy and brother Lakota; his uncles Kavin Franklin, Michael Detrixhe, and John Detrixhe; his grandmother Marlene Franklin; and his grandparents Frank and Wahnetta Detrixhe.

Alfonso “Fonz” Pando, 44, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2022, in Fort Stockton. He fought a long, hard battle with cancer. He never gave up, our Lord was just ready to have him home. We are certain he is in heaven blaring his music for all of heaven to hear, dancing with the angels, and laughing with his dad.

Steven Charles Schroeder, Sr.

Body

Steven Charles Schroeder, Sr. left this earth unexpectedly to join Jesus in Heaven on March 14, 2022. Steve was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Lincoln, Neb., to Dot and Wally Schroeder, where Wally was stationed during World War II. Sadly, Wally was killed in the war when Steve was four months old, and never met his baby boy.

Arlouine Cummings Humphrey

Arla Humphrey “MawMaw”, 96, made the light in heaven a little brighter on March 10, 2022.

Arla was born on Aug. 25, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana to John and Marie Cummings. She grew up in New York and made her way to Texas after marrying Amos Humphrey on Sept. 3, 1946. They lived in Del Rio, TX for over 50 years where they raised three children, owned multiple businesses and had a cattle and goat ranch.

Guy Paul Hall

Guy Paul Hall, 74, of Midland, Texas, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Feb. 11, 2022.  Guy was born on April 17, 1947, to Lieutenant Colonel Paul Morgan Hall and Mignon Rachal Hall Pearson at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. 

Guy spent most of his youth in Fort Stockton, Texas, working alongside his grandfather Guy Rachal on the family ranch. He graduated from Lee High School in 1965. Guy went on to earn a Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in 1970.

Earl Martin Bivins

Body

Earl Martin Bivins died peacefully on March 9, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Born 1932 in Renton, Wash., he grew up in Ballard and Seattle, Wash.

After finishing his degree at the University of Washington and one tour with the U.S.Marine Corps, his career turned to banking in the trust departments of notable banks in downtown Seattle.
