The regular meeting of the Fort Stockton Independent School Board was held on April 22 in the district board room. All board members were present except Vice President Ignacia “Nacho” Dominguez. After pledges and invocation, the board recognized April students of the month.

The Fort Stockton Natatorium was electric with excitement as the Middle School Blue Wave hosted the Jr. Comanche Swimming Invitational on April 19. The season-ending meet was a celebration of dedication and hardfought victories. The girls’ team splashed to a dominant first place overall finish, while the boys’ team secured a well-deserved second-place.

The stakes were high, the energy electric, as Fort Stockton’s Panthers and Prowlers athletes arrived at the 4A Region 1 Track Meet in Lubbock on April 19 and 20. This meet is the crucial steppingstone for those with dreams of competing at the Texas State Championships.
