Yaneli Caballero isn’t afraid of a challenge. The Fort Stockton sophomore proved her mettle at the recent 3-4 and 4-A Area Track Meet, conquering not only her competition but also her own nerves to claim the Area Championship in the Long Jump with a personal record and school record-breaking leap of 17’3”.
Fort Stockton Senior Alissandra Jackson left her mark on the 3-4A Area Track Meet, not just with her gold medal in the 400M, but also by shattering the school record in the event with a blistering time of 58.75. This accomplishment wasn’t just a personal victory for Jackson, it set a new bar for future Prowler runners.
The Fort Stockton Prowlers and Panthers put on a fierce display at the 3-4 and 4-4A Area Track Meet in Andrews on April 11. While the Prowlers finished 10th overall, they secured two spots at the Regional Track Meet this week in Lubbock. Leading the charge were Area Champions Alissandra Jackson and Yaneli Caballero.
