Jose Rodrigo Lane, 50, of Lovington, N.M., passed away on Sept. 30, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at the large community hall in Fort Stockton, Texas, with the rosary beginning at 11 a.m., and a memorial sharing to follow with the sharing of a meal immediately after.

Consuelo Hermana Chelito” Benavides Mendiola, passed away on Oct. 11, 2022, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation was held on Oct. 17, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton. Funeral services were held on Oct. 18, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Vicente Cabello of Templo Agua Viva Iglesia officiating. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery.

Ernesto G. Gonzales was called home by our Heavenly father at the age of 84 on Sept. 29, 2022. Ernesto was born June 20, 1938, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Guillermo and Priscillana Gonzales. Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Priscillana, sister Lupe, brother Rudy, and niece Irma.

Linda Sue (McAnally) Diebitsch

Linda Sue (McAnally) Diebitsch passed away on Oct. 1, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family and furry companions. She was born on Nov. 21, 1941, in Santa Anna, Texas to Carl and Charline McAnally. She attended school, played basketball, and graduated salutatorian in Balmorhea, Texas in 1959. While attending Angelo State, on a weekend visit her oldest brother, W.C. introduced her to a coworker named ‘Debo’ who ended up being the love of her life. On July 21, 1961, Linda Sue McAnally married Donald John Diebitsch. They worked and made their forever home in Fort Stockton, Texas, where they raised their two daughters.

Maggie Lue Smith

Just days short of her 97th birthday, Maggie Smith ended a long, exciting, and rewarding life. Born to parents Earl and Josephine Autry, Maggie grew up in East Texas, and graduated from Marquez High School in 1943. After a brief time in Houston, Texas, Maggie married Dallas Smith in 1947, and moved to Ralls, Texas.

Sister Mary Felice Mojica, MCDP, 92, entered eternal rest on Sept. 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by parents, Cresencio Mojica and Petra Villarreal; siblings Blas Mojica, Benita M. Castro, Epifania M. Ancira, Petra M. Zendejas, Pedro Mojica, and Sabina M. Cardenas. She is survived by her sisters Rosa M. Montoya and Tomasa M. Guerra.

Edelia Moya Dutchover, 71, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept.17, 2022. Edelia was born on Aug. 14, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas, to Donna Medrano and Leonardo Moya.

She was preceded in death by her mother Donna, and her sister Patsy Sproles. She is survived by the love of her life Pedro Torres; two sons Natividad Garcia and Tim Dutchover; and her stepfather Rudy Iglesias.
