Fort Stockton ISD School Board honored by TREA

Out of the 392 school districts that are members of the Texas Rural Education Association, the Fort Stockton Independent School District School Board was selected as the winner of the School Board of the Year award for the 2021-2022 school year.

TREA released the news yesterday evening after narrowing the top school board nominations down to five leading up to the decision.

Fort Stockton track shows potential at 4A Region I meet

A number of Panther and Prowler athletes put forth their best performances of the season at the 4A Region I Track and Field meet at Lowrey Field in Lubbock to conclude their 2022 campaign last weekend.

Fort Stockton finished the two-day event on April 29-30 with no state qualifiers but showed the future of the program has plenty of promise in the years ahead.

Prowlers rout Riverside in playoff opener

Fort Stockton’s postseason debut couldn’t have gone much better for the Prowlers on Friday in Van Horn against District 1-4A co-district champion Riverside.

Senior Alyana Dominguez had her most productive game of the season at the plate for Fort Stockton, hitting two home runs and tallying six RBIs to lead her team to a 15-3 run-rule victory in five innings.
