Adriana Alonso Gonzales, of Fort Stockton at 9:13 a.m., officers from the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Gonzales on a warrant for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
Below is an open letter that was received in an e-mail shortly ago by the Pioneer from Fort Stockton ISD Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Zamora.
The letter is in regard to the result of the Fort Stockton bond election. Please note, there were 10 ballots that needed correction forms returned to count and three have been returned as of today. The seven correction forms unreturned can still be returned by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 13 to count towards the May 7 election.
Dear Fort Stockton ISD employee, parent, student, and/or resident,
Two results from the May 7 election have the possibility of changing by the end of the week.
Fort Stockton ISD Bond Proposition A, which currently has 359 votes against and 356 votes for, could change due to 29 mail ballots that were not received by May 7 and 10 mail ballots that are pending because of a corrective action that is required.
Determination and positivity – the mentalities were exemplified all season by the Prowlers softball team and were consistent parts of the team’s path from a program who won a few games a season ago to a postseason appearance in 2022.
The program turnaround under first-year head coach Darrian Roberson came full circle on April 30 against Riverside in their 4A Bi-District playoff matchup in Van Horn.
