Middle school tennis brings home some metals

On Saturday the Fort Stockton middle school tennis Team competed in the District Tournament. Teams included Fort Stockton, Andrews, Greenwood, Pecos, Seminole, and Monahans. Conditions for the meet were tough with 50mph winds and tough competition. The 7th grade Mixed Doubles Team earned the title of District Champions. “My first year with these athletes couldn’t have been more rewarding. I am honored to have watched them grow on and off the court, and thankful that I get to be a part of their athletic journeys.” Said Coach Cody Aaron Seventh grade results: 4th Place Overall, Mixed Doubles 1st Place District Champions: Angel Marquez/ Raquelle Jimenez. Eight Grade Results: 3rd Place Overall, Boys Singles 3rd Place: Jordan Caballero; Boys Doubles 3rd Place: Miguel Lujan/Jerrick Bernal

Blue Wave

The Fort Stockton Middle School Blue Wave swim team competed at a very competitive 6A to 4A Championship swim meet with over 250 athletes in Andrews, where the team came in 10th overall out of 16 teams. This amazing group fought hard and had some amazing results.
