Baseball

The Fort Stockton Panthers fell short to Lamesa 9-2. Edward Prieto started the game for the Panthers, allowing six hits and four runs over two innings. Luis Guerra and Chris Ramirez entered the game from the bullpen each throwing two innings. The Panthers collected seven hits on the day. Christian Hurtado and Christian Ramirez collected multiple hits. The Panthers begin district play at Midland Greenwood Tuesday March 22nd at 7 p.m. 

The Fort Stockton JV baseball team came short against Greenwood Tuesday night. The Panthers fell short 9-2 in 7 innings. Colby Garrison pitched lights out having 7 strikeouts in three innings of work. Jose Vasquez had four strikeouts in three innings of work. On the hitting side, Evian Castro and Erik Bislar both collected doubles during the game. Andrick Ramirez, Frankie Granado, Jose Vasquez, Izaiah Lujan collect base hits as well. The Panthers' next game will be on March 24 in Andrews at 11 a.m.

Softball

The JV Prowler Softball team traveled to Greenwood Tuesday night where they defeated the Lady Rangerettes 8-7.

The varsity Prowlers came out swinging and came out on top for their second district game of the season against the Greenwood Rangerettes, 9- 7. The next district game will be in Fort Stockton on Friday against Andrews at 5 p.m.

Golf

The Panther golf team finished fourth at the Monahans Invitational Tournament on March 18 with a team score of 356. Alex Williams paced the Panthers with a round of 79 and was the fourth place low individual, and Jeremiah Hughes shot a career low of 88. Kobe Saavedra carded a 94, Jonathan Gomez shot 95, and Cole Daggett finished with a 97. Medalist Cade Bayer posted a round of 128.
