Robert “Bob” Walker of Fort Stockton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, in Fort Stockton at the age of 68 years. He was born on Feb. 28, 1949, in Fort Stockton to Benny Walker and Jane Holliday.
Walker graduated Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He was a jovial man who enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, ranching, and camping. Walker was a loving and sensitive guy who raised boer goats and angus cows. He was also an all-around engineer and charismatic fellow.
Walker is survived by his son, Jamil Walker; his daughters, Danika Walker and Ashia Walker; his brothers, Benny Walker and John Walker; and his sisters, Nina Owens, Linda Walker, Teresa Walker, Cynthia Sanford and Edna Blanks.
Walker is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Jesse Walker and Reverend Curtis Gilbert.
Funeral service was on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, beginning at 10 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton.
