The Pecos County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 met in regular session on Tuesday, Aug. 8. Having the legal option to re-post and re-advertise, the PCWCID Board revisited the matter and reviewed two bids following the initial and rejected bid.
Board member Bill Everett motioned to approve the higher bid presented, and the motion was supported by Dudley McKissack.
With a motion and a second, the PCWCID Board approved the bid submitted by Penterra Services for an oil and gas lease on Water District property (block 1, section 14, tracts 36, 37 and 44).
