Posted

Pecos County's active COVID-19 cases dropped to 13 with more recoveries – including a 78-year-old woman from the Focus Care facility in Fort Stockton who have been hospitalized in Odessa.

The total actually was as low as nine before four new cases were reported yesterday.

As of July 7, the county is reporting 1,181 tests, with 928 negative results, and 58 positives – of which 44 have recovered and one death. There are 169 tests pending as of July 7.

Another 26 cases tested positive in Pecos County, but were assigned to other counties by the state.

Pecos County remains well below the 45-active-case threshold that would force it back to Phase 1 25% customer capacity limits under state guidelines.
