Joint Effort Chiropractic treats back pain and more

Are you experiencing back pain or any other physical discomfort? Joint Effort Chiropractic at 1103 W. Dickinson (in between Mesquite Tree Gift Shop and Security Finance) can help you discover the source of your pain, and will execute a treatment plan that caters to your specific needs.

Chiropractor Dr. Eric Fierro opened Joint Effort in Fort Stockton with his wife Leslie back in February of 2013. Four years later, the business is still standing strong and continues helping its patients to stand strong as well.

“It's more than just back pain relief and working with spinal corrections. My services can cover everything from sprains to sports injuries – I get a little bit of everything here,” said Fierro.

Joint Effort offers an examination, a diagnosis and will proceed with a treatment plan tailored for each individual patient.

Fierro's diverse list of treatments includes adjustments, spinal alignments, ultra sounds, physical therapy and rehabilitation, nutrition counseling, stress management, and much more.

“One of the newer treatments I've added here is the Endonasal Cranial Release. I do manipulation of the cranial bones, which a lot people don't realize, we actually have small joints that make up the skull. This newer treatment helps settle those joints in and reduces allergy, sinuses and headaches. It's been very successful here, and it's getting more popular with my patients,” said Fierro.

Fierro is a graduate of Fort Stockton High School, and left the area to go to college. After a stay in Abilene, he earned his Bachelor’s from Parker University in Dallas in Human Health and Wellness and his Doctorate in Chiropractic.

He returned to west Texas and worked at Gonzales Health and Rehab in Odessa for a few years, where he gained experience and learned the business side of chiropractic medicine. It was there that he learned that he’d rather not deal with insurance billing.

The decision to not do insurance billing allows Fierro to run the office himself, reduces operating costs and keeps patient costs down. He is the only employee, handling office duties, scheduling and treatments by himself.

“Other than my wife, the closest thing I have to an employee here is the message chair,” he said with a laugh.

“The message chair is my assistant... I'm very thankful for the Fort Stockton community. My patients are great. I want Joint Effort to be a place where they come can relax. The whole set up is relaxing, from the wall colors to the music. I really wanted it to have a calm vibe in here. The patients really enjoy the atmosphere and they feel better with every visit,” said Fierro.

Joint Effort is open Mondays through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Fierro says he plans to expand his Friday hours soon.

Joint Effort is largely appointment based, but accepts walk-ins. If you're in extreme pain, Fierro has your back and will even except crawl-ins. Don't tolerate the pain; schedule your appointment today.
