The FSISD School Board met in regular session on Monday, July 24.
The Board and Superintendent Ralph Traynham discussed all of the handbooks for the year, including the Student, Employee, Athletics, Extra-curricular, and Cheerleader handbooks. All handbooks will be posted to the FSISD website.
The Board also approved the purchase of property, auto, and general liability insurance from Hartford Insurance Co. for a total of $297,320 annually.
A student code of conduct was approved by the Board, as provided by Eichelbaum & Wardell. The appraisal calendar used by administrators for evaluating teaching staff was approved, and is aligned with state timelines and standards.
The Board approved a donation from Home Team Marketing/Farmer’s Insurance Company of $1,400 to FSHS.
