The Fort Stockton Panthers tennis team traveled to Midland Saturdy to face off against the toughest private school in Midland, the Midland Christian Mustangs. A team with an intimidating reputation with their multiple TAAPS state qualifiers, but as always, the Panthers are fighting and “Never Giving Up Never Giving In.” Falling short with a final score of 12-7, the girls accounted for six of the wins in both doubles and singles and a lone win on the boys side by sophomore Alexander Gomez. After the match the team was surprised by some very generous parents to do quality team bonding at Cinergy to watch the new DC movie, The Blue Beetle.
