She is survived by her husband of sixty years Miguel Angel Ureta Sr., brothers Cosme Primera Jr. and Jimmy Dan Primera, her children Miguel Angel Ureta Jr. (Rebecca Scott Falcon) and Enedelia Angela Ureta, daughter- in-law Kim Ureta along with her grandchildren Andrew Scott Ureta (Daisy Gonzales), Sari Marie Urias, Viani Micah Urias, Miranda Ureta, Cristian Nava and numerous nephews and nieces.

Socorro worked as a certified nurse’s aide, seamstress and salesclerk prior to her retirement. She was a devoted mother and wife and was dedicated to helping others as she continually placed others and their needs before hers. Socorro loved her community and lived life to the fullest deriving joy from simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, taking drives with her husband, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and nephews and nieces whom she adored and cherished with all her heart. One of her greatest joys in life was cooking. She demonstrated her love for people via the delicious cakes, cookies, bread, and meals she would prepare for family, friends, and customers. She was ever the perfectionist, and it was not uncommon for her to place a cake or a batch of cookies to the side and start all over until she felt it was up to standard for people to enjoy. Socorro felt she was truly blessed to have such loyal customers and was forever grateful for their patronage. She had a wonderful knack for solving problems and getting things done and always moved forward with a positive attitude, never complaining, or feeling pity for herself no matter what adverse situation had befallen her. Socorro loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to share a funny story or joke. She had an unwavering faith in and a love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and prayed the Rosary daily. She never failed to give thanks to God and to ask for his blessing for family and friends. Due to her generous spirit and pleasant personality, many loved her and will be missed. Her beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of family and friends. Her legacy is that of love, faith, resilience and commitment to God, family, and community.
