Rosemarie Gonzalez Ybarra, 62, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed into her eternal life in heaven on June 19, 2023, in Bryan-College Station, Texas. She was born on April 4, 1961, to Baldomero C. Gonzalez and Estefana Bustos Barrera in Sanderson, Texas.

Rosemarie is survived by her children, Rolando (Krystal) Ybarra Jr.; Michael (Lindsey) Ybarra, and David Duvane Ybarra; 14 beloved grandchildren; brothers Baldomero Jr., Tony, John Gonzalez, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is being welcomed by our Heavenly Father into heaven and reunited with her parents, granddaughter Angel Rose, brother Valentin B. Gonzalez, and her husband Rolando Ybarra Sr.
Rosemarie married the love of her life, Rolando Sr., on Aug. 25, 1978, in Fort Stockton, where they lived for eight years. In 1992, they settled in Hearne, Texas to raise their family and shared a joyful marriage of laughter and joking. Rosemarie was a proud and loving mother to her “Incredible Three” sons, who she continued to encourage to strive for their best and to always set high expectations for greatness in their lives. She continuously prayed over them daily and shared her faith with all as often as possible.
Her interests in careers were always encompassed with helping people in legal and municipal endeavors. She spent years of her career as a case manager, beginning this journey at Daniel Stark Law Firm in Bryan, Texas, and then moving to Chad Jones Law Firm in College Station, Texas to sharpen her skills.

She enjoyed working with clients and sharing laughs and conversations with those that she worked with. To Rosemarie, clients and coworkers were quick to become family in her heart.
Memories of Rosemarie vary from sharing words of wisdom, a much-needed scripture, thoughtful prayers, a strong opinion, all things pink or floral, and tasty recipes. She was someone to turn to for an unbiased opinion that was shared with a smile and a closing phrase of, “You know what I mean?”
The family greeted friends on Thursday, June 22 from 5-7 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 802 South Market Street, Hearne, Texas.
Father Ramon offered a Funeral Mass on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 402 West 1st Street, Hearne, Texas. Following Mass, family and friends will proceed to St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Hearne for final rest.
“God be with you.”
