Reymundo M. Vejil entered into rest on May 6, 2021. He was born on Nov. 1, 1935, to Manuel and Manuela Martinez.

Reymundo served in U.S. Army for three years. He served in the Highway Department for over 20 years. He has a master’s degree, and was a teacher for over 20 years. Later in life he became a barber. He enjoyed playing in his band, and served as the director in the Saint Agnes Choir.

Reymundo was preceded in death by his parents.

Reymundo is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosemary Duran; his brother Manuel Vejil, Jr.; sisters Erlinda Valdez and Carmen Rodriguez; and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Campus. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
