Church service for Marjorie Nell Morgan, age 87, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe with Jeff Coffman of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home in Muleshoe.

Marjorie died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in Muleshoe. She was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Matador, Texas to Marvin and Annie (Marshall) Webb. She married Lester Morgan in Matador on May 29, 1953.

Marjorie and her husband, Lester owned and operated Dreamland Grocery in Pecos, Texas.

She loved to sew, quilt, and cook. Marjorie made the best fried pork chops and was known for her famous peanut patties. Marjorie enjoyed puzzles and Coca Cola memorabilia. She also loved Santa Clauses. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Lester; her parents; two sisters, Annie Webb, and Dorothy Watson; and three brothers, Troy Webb, Frank Webb, and Marvin Webb.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Pam Thomason and her husband, Charles of Muleshoe, Texas; two grandchildren, Brandon Thomason and his wife, Jana and Bradley Thomason; and her four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Thomason, Braylee Thomason, Seth Thomason and Kinley Thomason.
