Maria Sanchez Molinar, 81, of Fort Stockton, Texas was called home to our Heavenly Father on Dec. 7, 2022.  Maria was born Sept. 9, 1941, in Boquillas del Carmen, Coahuila, Mexico, to Juan and Josefa Sanchez.

Mama Ria lived a happy life among a loving family and friends. She enjoyed playing loteria and spending time with her grandkids, she was very giving and had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed. What brings peace to our hearts and minds is knowing she will be with the rest of our angels in heaven.

Maria married Manuel Gomez Molinar in Alpine, Texas.  Maria was a devoted member of the Fort Stockton Church of Christ.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Molinar Sr., son Fortino Molinar and son in law Johnny Castro.

Maria is survived by her daughters Sandy Castro and late husband Johnny of Fort Stockton, Texas, Gloria Armendariz and husband Elco of Odessa, Texas, Noemi Lujan and husband Benny of Fort Stockton, Texas, son Manuel Molinar Jr. and wife Claudia of Fort Stockton, Texas.  Maria also leaves behind her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jay Castro, Andrew Castro, Evian Castro, Jesus Armendariz, BJ Lujan, and Estevan Molinar.

Visitation was on Dec. 9, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas.  Second visitation was on Saturday, Dec.10, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas.  Funeral Service was on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Fort Stockton Church of Christ 2100 W. 16th St. Fort Stockton, Texas.  Internment was at Easthill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
