Katherine Chavarria 87, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Feb. 23, 2024, in Fort Stockton.

Rosary for Katherine was held at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N. Main Street in Fort Stockton, Feb. 26, 2024, at 7 p.m. Funeral Services were held Feb. 27, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic church at 10 a.m. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

Katherine was born in Fort Stockton to Joe and Bessie Scott on Sept. 6, 1936. She attended Fort Stockton for all her school years. She married Paul Chavarria on Aug. 21, 1954. Katherine is preceded in death by her father Joe Scott, her mother Bessie Scott, Loving Husband Paul Chavarria, and Evelyn Scott.

Katherine is survived by her children Pauline (Guy) Brown, Jimmy (Seninada) Scott.

Pallbearers included Raymond Gonzales, Chris Alvarado, Dale Cope, Darrel Scott, Robert Bill, and Juan Aguilar.
