Josefa Arrambidez Vasquez, 88 years old, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, in Fort Stockton.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, with a Homecoming Service from 6-8 p.m. at Believers Fellowship Church, 206 W. 5th Street in Fort. Stockton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at Believers Fellowship Church with Richard Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.

Josefa was born in Palau, Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus Nieves Arrambidez and Felipa Valdez Arrambidez on Dec. 19,1935. She went to school in Palau. She married Enrique Quiroz Vasquez on June 17, 1956. She worked as a homemaker for 55 years.

Josefa is preceded in death by Husband Enrique Quiroz Vasquez, Brother Candelario Arrambidez, Sister Maria Teresa Guiterez, Grandson Javier Alexander Rodriguez.

Josefa is survived by Daughter Rosie Lee Vasquez, Son Mike A. Vasquez, Daughters Janie M. Rodriguez, Janet L. Dunn, Joanne Velasquez, Josephine Barnes, Son Bill Vasquez, Sisters Guadalupe Cervantes, Mary Louise Hayes, Grandchildren Kawami Madison, Kawasi Madison, Joe Adrian Ortega, Michael Vasquez Jr., Michelle Gonzalez, Willie James Woodbury, Jametra Woodbury, Christopher Wofford, Courtney Dunn, Joshua Feathers, Solomon Barnes, and 21 great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike A. Vasquez, Joe Adrian Ortega, Michael Vasquez Jr., Willie Woodbury, Christopher Wofford, Joshua Feathers, Solomon Barnes
