Isiah Micheal Petralba passed away on Aug. 22, 2022, and left behind a family and many friends who loved him very much.

Isiah grew up and was baptized at Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Stockton, Texas, and loved the church and fellowship that he found there. He joined many sports while attending Fort Stockton schools, and was very well liked and excelled at everything he did. His passion was power lifting, and he truly loved it and he was very competitive. The other sports he played were track and football. He even took welding with his friends, and played the oboe for the band in junior high. After he graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 2015, the Marine Corps waited for Isiah to turn 18 in August so they could have him in the Corps. Isiah made so many friends at 29 Palms, and when he left the U.S. Marine Corps, he went to Spokane, Wash., to join family in the family business. Isiah and the family were blessed to have Isiah home for a great reunion for Jordan’s wedding, and a great time was had by all.

Thank you lord! May he rest in peace.

Isiah was born to Jennifer Ann Matthews and Mario Calzada Petralba of Fort Stockton/Iraan, Texas, on Aug. 25, 1998.

His grandparents were Cynthia and Manuel Pacheco, Merlita and David Matthews, Sr., and Delma and Mario Petralba, Sr.; siblings Nuniece Hernandez, Jordan and Nataly Petralba, and Savannah Petralba; great grandparents Carmen Stanton, Manuel and Dola Rodriguez; aunts and uncles David and Jerilyn Matthews, Jr., Josh Matthews, Chris Matthews, Jeffrey and Maria Rodriguez, Francisco Petralba, Wendy Petralba, Dawn Moore, Kevin Petralba, Michael and Jillian Pacheco, Sean Pacheco, and Jeremiah Pacheco; niece Aviana De La Rosa and nephews: Michael Chavira and Naveen De La Rosa.
