Denna Ann Sadler was a force of life and light that will remain with us always. She passed away Jan. 31, 2023, with her family at her side.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at First United Methodist Church, Fort Stockton, Texas. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her incredible life.

Coca-Cola will be served. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Born June 12, 1970, Denna was a native of Fort Stockton, Texas where she graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1988. She completed her bachelor's degree in Education at Texas Tech University. Denna went on to teach in Fort Stockton ISD for over 25 years.

Her time in the classroom was a true art. Denna had a passion for education and left a lasting impression on every student that sat in her classroom.

As a young, dedicated mother, she loved her children fiercely and especially loved her role as Grammy. She enjoyed reading, traveling, shopping, and talking. She was never at a loss for words. Denna had a sparkling spirit, a heart of gold, and a warrior's soul. She endured her many challenges and struggles with unmatched perseverance. She was a true testament of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. Denna may have left this earth too soon, but her legacy will live on.

She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Bryan Sadler and wife Danielle, Macy Vercher and husband Michael; her three siblings and their spouses, Gary Harding and wife Vicki, Danny Harding and wife Isabel, and Lisa Ashton; five grandchildren, Sailor and Isla Sadler, Max, Maddie, and Maverick Vercher; and numerous nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Ashton.
