David Ramirez, 42, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2021, in Odessa, Texas.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from noon-9 p.m. at Alpha y Omega Church at 1200 North Butz, Fort Stockton, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Lorenzo Hatch officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Willowbrook Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Midland.

David Ramirez was born in Fort Stockton to Reymundo and Odelia Ramirez on Feb. 15, 1979. He went to Fort Stockton High School. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1997.  He worked in construction for Longfellow Construction for several years.

David was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Manuel Calderon and Sixta Calderon, and parents Reymundo Ramirez and Odelia Ramirez. 

David is survived by his siblings Leticia Calderon, Raymond Ramirez, Oscar Ramirez, and Rene Ramirez. 

Pallbearers will be Israel Palma, Jason Acosta, Manuel Nanez, Pat Primera, Angel Ramirez, Adrian Ramirez, Matthew Trejo, and Jarod Calderon.
