Baudelia “ Delia” Ramirez, 87, passed away on April 14, in Fort Stockton Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe- St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Delia was born in Alpine on August 31, 1936, to Connie and Alberto Almodova. She married Ismael Ramirez on February 11, 1967. She worked for the Fort Stockton Independent School District where she began her career in the cafeteria, and ultimately retired as a bus driver. She retired after 50 years of dedicated service. She touched many lives in her years as a bus driver. Delia loved her family and friends and would visit them often, making friends with anyone she encountered. She loved to crochet and work on her many sewing projects. She was a mother and grandmother to all and would do anything for anyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Alberto Almodova, her husband, Ismael Ramirez, her sons Fred Almodova and Richard Ramirez, her grandson Josh Kassuhn, her sister, Naya Munoz and her brothers Waldo Luna, Daniel Almodova, and Albert Almodova.

She is survived by her daughter Lori Escajeda and her husband O.J. Escajeda, daughter Melinda Kassuhn, Grandchildren O.J. and Tonya Escajeda, Jennica and Matt Mancha, Aaron and Taylor Escajeda, Andrew and Jaime Kassuhn, Albert Almodova, and 11 great-grandchildren.

As she is laid to rest, pallbearers will be: Chon Ramirez, Victor Ramirez, Ben Ramirez, Ernest Rodriguez, JR Villegas, Elijahz Mancha.

Honorary Pallbearers: O.J. Escajeda, Aaron Escajeda, Matt Mancha, Andrew Kassuhn, and M.J. Mancha, and Albert Almodova.
