Manda L. Bueno entered into rest on Feb. 5, 2021. She was born on Nov. 18, 1938, to Harvey and Rena Cogdill.

Manda was a loving wife, and enjoyed her rose garden. She was an active church member, and loved to visit the grandchildren and daughters in Hawaii. She loved the Lord, and trusted in Him. She enjoyed making friends and helping and caring for people. 

Manda was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Rena Cogdill, brother Alford Cogdill, and sister Lena Roland.

Francisco “Frank” Subia Aguirre entered into rest on Feb. 4, 2021. He was born Oct. 31, 1945, to Moises Aguirre and Aleja Subia Aguirre.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Moises Aguirre and Aleja Subia Aguirre; his brothers Victoriano Aguirre, Audelio Aguirre, Fidel Aguirre, and Roberto Aguirre; sisters Gregoria Aguirre, Angela Contreras, and Oralia Jimenez; and grandchildren Samantha Escamilla and Sabrina Escamilla.

Jesse Flores Ontiveros, 67, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Jan. 31, 2021, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1953, to Eusebio and Juanita (Flores) Ontiveros in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Jesse served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.

Juan Deleon Hernandez

Juan Deleon Hernandez entered into rest on Jan. 31, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1933, to Pedro Hernandez Ruelas and Delfina Hernandez Deleon.

Juan was a hardworking man who started working as a dump truck driver in the Boquillas area and in numerous ranches in Brewster County, Texas. He worked for Chilo Acosta in sheep shearing for many years. He also worked Candelia in Las Norias, Texas. He worked for 30 years at Big Bend Rio Grande Village.

Bobby Don Cardwell

Bobby Don Cardwell, 86, of Fort Stockton, Texas, peacefully passed away on Feb. 1, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 2, 1934, to Hal and Irene Cardwell in Celeste, Texas.

Bobby was a God-fearing man who never met a stranger. He always lit up the room with his smile wherever he was. Family gatherings were always fun because we could count on him to make everyone laugh. Bobby was the most loving husband, father, and papaw who will be greatly missed by all.
