Robert Huerta Pena, Jr.

Body

Robert Huerta Pena, Jr., of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away from this life on Feb. 16, 2021, at Odessa Regional Medical Center. He was born to Robert H. Pena, Sr., and Sally Salazar in Phoenix, Ariz., on March 4, 1945.

Robert graduated from Odessa High School in 1963. He joined the National Guard in Dec. 22, 1965, in Midland, Texas, and served until Dec. 21, 1971.

María Isabel Rodríguez

María Isabel Rodríguez, 73, of La Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, transitioned to be with our Father in Heaven on Feb. 16, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.

Prayer service was held on Feb. 22, 2021, at Christian Center in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Feb. 23, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish with Father Lorenzo Hatch officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.

Lou Ann McKenzie

Lou Ann McKenzie, 86, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2021, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by family and her grand-dog Gigi. Lou Ann’s passing was on the same date as her mother, Ione Lowry, 35 years earlier.

Lou Ann Lowry was welcomed into the world by her parents, Lloyd George Lowry and Florence Ione Booles Lowry, on Sept. 10, 1934, in Weatherford, Texas. Lou Ann was the middle child, with two older brothers, Bobby and Billy, and three younger sisters, Margie, Linda, and Lynn.

Banette Bryce

Banette Bryce entered into rest on Feb. 9, 2021. She was born Oct. 11, 1956, to David and Aluerna Bryce.

Buni was a member of the Pecos County Memorial Hospital auxiliary and a hospice volunteer, and was an active member of Church of Christ.

Buni was preceded in death by her parents, David and Aluerna Bryce.

She is survived by her sister Belinda Faulk; niece Melanie Farrell; and great grandnieces, Brenna Margan Farrell and Allison Cassidy Farrell.

Sharon Conner

Sharon Conner went to be with the Lord on Feb. 11 2021.

She loved being around people, and working with the public. She started working at what is now Lowe’s in 1976, retiring in 2011.

Sharon loved playing the piano at her church, and singing hymns.

Body

Enedina C. Baeza entered into rest on Feb. 12, 2021. She was born on Feb. 13, 1940, to Manuel and Anita Contreras.

She was an excellent cook who loved to dance, and was a friend to everyone. Her quick wit and charm would win you over.

Enedina was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Anita Contreras; her husband Ramon Baeza, Sr.; and grandchild Brianna Skye Baeza.

Lorena Renteria Ramirez

Body

Lorena Renteria Ramirez entered into rest on Feb. 12, 2021. She was born Sept. 18, 1980, to Aurelio and Amelia Renteria.

Lorena was a fantastic nurse who always put others before herself. She loved to spend her days off with her granddaughter and mother. She enjoyed watching her children play sports. She was loved by many people. She lit up the room with her smile, and made everyone laugh with her funny remarks.

Lorena was preceded in death by her father, Aurelio Renteria.
