Jesus G. Alcala of Fort Stockton, Texas, reunited with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 6, 2021, at the age of 92. Affectionately known as Chuy” to his friends, he was a gifted storyteller, and never hesitated to bestow a personal blessing on anyone who crossed his path. The loves of his life were, in order, his God, his family, his animals, and his cookies and chocolate.

Marina San Miguel, 46, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Sept. 1, 2021, in Fort Stockton.

Visitation was held on Sept. 4-5, 2021, at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary recited by Viola Alvarez at Eternity Funeral Home.

Funeral Service was held on Sept. 6, 2021, at Eternity Funeral Home. Cremation followed as means of disposition. Arrangements were under the care of Eternity Funeral Home.

Modesta G. Rios passed away on Sept. 3, 2021, at the age of 88. She was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Sanderson, Texas, to Magdaleno Fierro Rios and Antonia Gonzales Rios. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Fidel Rios, Magdaleno G. Rios, Jr.; sister, Santos Gonzales; sons, Daniel Chavez and Frank Chavez.

Jerry Succa went home to be with Jesus on Sept. 3, 2021, at the age of 64.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Maria Aguero Succa. He is survived by his wife Angie Gomez Succa; his father Pete Succa; his brothers Eddie and his wife Carmen Succa, and Larry and Mirna Succa; his daughters Holly and her husband Robert Chapa, and Desiree and husband Tony Faz; his grandchildren Chloe Lynn and Claire Chapa, and Juliana Michelle and Evelina Lyla Faz.

Madeline McDaniel Waldrep

Longtime Resident of Fort Stockton, Texas, Madeline McDaniel Waldrep was called home to be with her Lord on August 31, 2021.  She died at her home in Fort Stockton, Texas surrounded by her loving family.  Madeline was born on September 8, 1932, in Hughes County, Oklahoma.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald Vaughn and Lois Conditt Cash, her first husband Travis W. McDaniel, second husband Freddy Joe Waldrep and her brother, William Bailey Cash.

Domingo Arenas

Domingo Arenas left us to be with Jehova God and His Son Jesus Christ on Aug. 28, 2021. Domingo was born on June 19, 1938, in Terlingua, Texas, to Mr. Jesus Arenas and Ms. Ruperta Cedillos.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Ruperta, as well as brother Juan G. Baeza.

Nieves L. Gonzalez

Body

Nieves L. Gonzalez left us to be with Jesus on July 29, 2021. She was born on Aug. 5, 1927, in Chizos, Texas, to Anastacio Gonzalez and Rebecca Lopez.

Nieves was a loving grandmother and mother. She enjoyed singing with her son-in-law Victor Leyva who would sing to her every morning. She was a wonderful person inside and out, and was never in a bad mood. She was always happy, and catered to her children and grandchildren. She loved roses.
