Marcial Fabela Pacheco, Sr., 76, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Aug. 24, 2022, surrounded by family after a brief battle with leukemia.
He was born in Colonia Esperanza, Chihuahua, Mexico, on March 18, 1946, to Martin and Celia Pacheco. He had nine siblings, Roberto, Lorenzo, Rodrigo, Rene, Petra, Manuel, Nabor, Juan, and Vicente.
Mateo “Popo” M. Gonzalez, Jr., 94, passed away on Aug. 11, 2022. He was born in Fort Stockton, Texas, on Jan. 31, 1928, to Mateo Gonzalez, Sr., and Seferina M. Gonzalez.
Many years of his life were dedicated to his passion as a rancher/cowboy. After retiring from ranching, Mateo and his family moved to the city where he learned the skill of welding. He was a self-employed welder when he eventually retired from work in his 80s.

David William Kuhn of Odessa, Texas, was born on Aug. 24, 1963, in Falls Church, Va., the third son of the late Thomas Edward Kuhn and Mary Walker Kuhn of Grandfalls, Texas. He was married to Katherine Baker Kuhn of Odessa. He entered the glory of heaven on July 13, 2022.
Henrietta Murillo Ayala, 85, of Betteravia, Calif., passed away on May 27, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas. Henrietta was born in Betteravia to Manuel and Paz Murillo on July 14, 1937.
She went to school at Santa Maria High School. She married Juan Luna Ayala in November 1967 in California.
She was a homemaker, and her love was caring for her husband and daughter.

“Mundy” attended Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater, Texas. While there, he met his wife, Joann.
