DEC. 18

The Fort Stockton boys and girls high school basketball teams will both play at home at the Special Events Center on Friday, Dec. 18. The event marks the first time this season the Panthers and Prowlers will play at home on the same evening. The Prowlers varsity tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. against Snyder while the Panthers tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. against Big Spring.

DEC. 21, 29

The Fort Stockton boys basketball team will host a pair of games of Christmas Break. The Panthers will play Tornillo at home on Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. and Sweetwater at home on Dec. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Freshman and JV start times for both matchups will be at 1 p.m.

DEC. 31

The City of Fort Stockton is holding its New Year’s Eve Firework Show at 10 p.m. at Rooney Park in Fort Stockton. Those in attendance are asked to stay in their vehicles. The show will be approximately 20 minutes according to CVB Director Crystal Lopez.
