Showtime: “A Christmas Story” opens Thursday

Fort Stockton Community Theatre’s youth group, the Paisano Players, will open performances of “A Christmas Story,” adapted by Philip Grecian and directed by Reba Subia and Staci Schoenfeldt, this Thursday, Dec. 8, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson Street Theatre.

Other performances will be Friday night, Dec. 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. on-Dec.10 and 11.

Doors will open 30 minutes before curtain. Tickets may be purchased at the door for cash or check or online with credit card by going to the Fort Stockton Community Theatre website.

Another special treat will be the Christmas Cookie sale in the FMH meeting hall next to the theatre on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.. Homemade cookies will be available for purchase in $5, $20, and $30 boxes. Homemade cookies are great appreciation gifts; be sure to show up early to get first choice.
