Local graduates named to Angelo State Dean’s List

Angelo State University announced the students who achieved the Dean's List designation for the 2022 spring semester.

Former Fort Stockton High School Graduate Lindy Ochoa was named to the list. Buena Vista Graduates Carsyn Evans and Jordan Ward were also named to the university’s Dean’s List.

Ochoa is majoring in political science, Ward is majority in management, and Evans is majoring in kinesiology.

To be eligible for the ASU Dean's List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.

Angelo State University, founded in 1928, is a four-year public school in Texas. The school is a part of the

Texas Tech University System with campuses across the state. Angelo State has been ranked as one of The Princeton Review's "Best Colleges" in the nation since 2010, and also a College of Distinction. Angelo State was also recognized with a Gold Award for ranking in the top tier of the 72 institutions in the Large Public University category that were awarded the "Military Friendly School" designation for 2022-23.
