It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

APRIL 18

Ashley M. Yates-Contreras, of El Paso, Texas at 9 p.m., officers with the Department of Public Safety apprehended Yates-Contreras and charged her with possession of marijuana less than two ounces and possession of a controlled substance penalty group two less than one gram. Yates-Contreras received a $500 PR bond for possession of marijuana charge and a $3,000 bond for possession of a controlled substance charged. She posted bond and was released on April 19.

APRIL 20

Isac Rojas Jr., of Victoria, Texas at 12:14 a.m., officers with the Department of Public Safety apprehended Rojas and charged him with driving while intoxicated third or more offenses. Rojas received a $3,000 bond and was released the same day.

Jesus Alonzo Gaytan, of Fort Stockton at 11 a.m., officers with the Fort Stockton Police Department apprehended Gaytan and charged him with driving while license invalid. Gaytan received a $1,500 bond and is still in jail.

Amber Marie Simmons, of Coyanosa at 3:13 p.m., officers with the Fort Stockton Police Department apprehended Simmons and charged her with two counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group less than one gram and possession of a controlled substance penalty group one more than or equal to one gram less than four grams. Simmons received bonds totaling $9,500 and is still in jail.

Julio Rigoberto Estrada, of Garland at 8:30 p.m., officers with the Department of Public Safety apprehended Estrada and charged him with possession of marijuana less than two ounces. Estrada received a $500 PR bond and was released the same day.

APRIL 21

Shane Ramirez Velasquez, of Fort Stockton at 8:30 p.m., officers with the Fort Stockton Police Department apprehended Velasquez on warrants for no driver’s license, driving while license invalid, and speeding 10% above posted limit. Velasquez paid fines for his three traffic tickets and was released the same day.

Tramesha Dyona Carter, of San Tan Valley, Arizona at 10 p.m., officers with the Department of Public Safety apprehended Carter and charged her with possession of marijuana less than two ounces. Carter received a $500 PR bond and was released the same day.

APRIL 23

Elizabeth Zenaida De La Rosa, of Fort Stockton at 9:30 p.m., officers with the Fort Stockton Police Department apprehended De La Rosa and charged her with criminal mischief more than or equal to $750 less than $2,500. De La Rosa received a $2,500 bond and is still in jail.
