DEC. 1-2

The Pecos County Pecan Food Show will be held at Pecos County State Bank on Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2. The event is free to enter. The grand champion will win $550 and the reserve champion will take home $400. Check out the rules for more information at the Pecos County Extension Office.

DEC. 2

The annual Fort Stockton Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, Dec. 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. Visit with Santa after the parade at the Visitor Center – 1000 Railroad Ave. Don’t forget to bring your phones/ cameras for free pictures.

DEC. 2

Feast of Sharing takes place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Pecos County Civic Center on Friday, Dec. 2.

DEC. 2

The Fort Stockton Historical Society and Annie Riggs Museum presents Annie’s Christmas Welcome on Friday, Dec. 2 from 5:308:30 p.m. The event will feature festive foods, music and games for kids. Be sure to get your pictures with the Grinch.

DEC. 3

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish invites the public to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8:30-11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church Hall. There is no charge for the event.

DEC. 3

Pop Warner Youth Football Tournament begins at 9 a.m. at Panther Stadium.

DEC. 5

Family Holiday Bingo will be held at the Pecos County Civic Center from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. The event will be a night of family fun and a chance to win Holiday Prizes. Ten bingo games and two blackouts. Concessions will be available. Chicken and sausage gumbo, shrimp fettucine, jambalaya, nachos, popcorn, will be available. The event is put on by Pecos County 4-H.
