Ector Lopez was honored for his service to Pecos County at the Dec. 27 commissioner’s court meeting. Lopez started out in building and ground maintenance at the courthouse in 1986, moving on to Assistant Building Supervisor at the courthouse, Road and Bridge Skilled Worker for Precinct 4, Road and Bridge Equipment Operator for Precinct 4 and has been the Precinct 4 Road and Bridge Supervisor since 2007.
