Fort Stockton High School teacher Robert Inlow and high school students Katie Villarreall, and Colton King were recognized as the instructor and students of the fith, sixth six weeks by the Fort Stockton Rotary Club a week ago. Inlow is originally from Dallas and has degrees from Baylor University (Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (a Master of Divinity). Colton King was recognized as student for the fifth six weeks, and Katie Villarreal was recognized as the student for the sixth six weeks. Both students are interested in attending Texas Tech, and Colton already has a degree from Midland College as an energy technician. There’s never been a polar bear reported in Fort Stockton, but a large white Samoyed could play tricks on the eyes from a distance. Pulling into Fort Stockton with the distinguishable breed, David Gonzales of San Antonio was more than happy to talk about his fluffy friend.

Midland College WRTTC held a Certified Nurse Assistant and Pharmacy Technician Pinning Ceremony on May 25 at the Fort Stockton Community Theatre. A total of 19 students graduated as either a pharmacy technician or CNA. Whether it’s giving back by helping patients and those in need or giving back to the college that enabled her to have the career she long desired, Joann Villesca has always put others first in her life.
