The second annual SpringsFest took place in Fort Stockton and Pecos County on March 11.  The event celebrated the history of Comanche Springs and raised awareness of the benefit of the springs, as well as water conservation efforts.

The event was put on by Texas Water Trade and spearheaded by  Sharlene Leurig, TWT Chief Executive Officer. As pictured, Leurig led a panel discussion at the Comanche Springs Pool, which featured city councilman Ruben Falcon, former longtime county commissioner MR Gonzalez, and Annie Riggs Museum Director/local historian Ross Harper.

Also pictured is a Native American ceremony reenactment at the Comanche Springs Pool, a tour of Belding Farms, and Tristian Barragan kayaking in the Comanche Springs Canal near Rooney Park on March 11.
