Rivera-Gutierrez

Mrs. Aurora U. Gutierrez of Fort Stockton proudly announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Jocellyn Nicole Gutierrez, to Daniel Alan Rivera, son of Ignacio, Jr. and Juanita Rivera of San Antonio. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Henry Gutierrez, the granddaughter of the late Jimmy, Sr. and Irene Urias, and the late Humberto and Sabina Gutierrez, all of Fort Stockton. She is a 1993 graduate of Fort Stockton High School and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is employed as an Education Assistant with the Intercultural Development Research Association in San Antonio. The prospective groom is the grandson of Leandro Garcia and the late Ignacia Garcia of San Antonio, the late Ignacio Rivera, Sr., of Antioch, California, and the late Olive K. Muraida of San Antonio. He is a 1991 graduate of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is employed as a Service Manager at Gunn Infiniti in San Antonio. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Southwest School of Art & Craft Convent Garden on the San Antonio Riverwalk with the bride-elect's uncle, Pastor Jimmy Urias, Jr., of Fort Stockton officiating. A reception will follow in the Coates Chapel at the Southwest School of Art & Craft.
