Sorority gets ready for Christmas
Laureate Epsilon Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Tuesday evening, November 13, in the home of Vicki Parker. A delicious meal of spaghetti , salad, and garlic bread and raspberry tea was enjoyed by the entire chapter.
Members repeated the traditional opening ritual in unison before the business meeting conducted by Susan Gordon.Reports were given and correspondence read. The Texas project this year will be Guide Dogs of Texas. Committee reports on the Christmas project and the chapter progression were given.
Karan Heffelfinger's program was a hands-on making of Thanksgiving favors. Each member made two little turkeys out of Hershey kisses, Ritz crackers, Tootsie rolls and assorted trimmings to be used or eaten.
Following the program Mrs. Parker served Jewish apple cake. The closing ritual and Mizpah were then repeated in unison.
Jean Lockhart won the attendance prize.
