Scouts annual popcorn sale has a new flavor
The Boy Scouts of America's Concho Valley Council is proud to announce the kick-off of the annual popcorn sale this Friday, Sept. 21. The sale marks a long-standing tradition that benefits the many developmental activities of the Boy Scouts of America.
The Trail's End popcorn is high quality gourmet popcorn, sold exclusively by the Scouts. The Trail's End mission is to provide a means of raising money for Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturer Crews, with which they can expand their programs and give boys the best Scouting experience possible. Additionally, in light of recent popcorn news, Trail's End is the first microwavable popcorn manufacturer to eliminate the use of diacetyl for flavoring.
Americans can rest assured it's the same great taste they've come to love, with the highest safety standards in the industry!
This year the Scouts will be unveiling the newest flavor for the calorie conscious - the 18 oz. Gourmet Caramel Corn Light. Additional flavors returning this year are: 5-Way Chocolate Lover's Tin, 3-Way Savory & Sweet, Cheese Lover's Delight Tin, Chocolatey Caramel (24 oz), Caramel with nuts (26 oz), Microwave Kettle Corn (15 pack), Microwave Butter (15 pack), Microwave Butter Light (15 pack) and Caramel Corn (11 oz).
The Concho Valley Boy Scouts will be hitting the streets through Oct. 29, each Scout striving to break the Boy Scouts selling records. Various prizes will be issued to the top sellers across the nation, such as camping gear and audio equipment.
