Chapter Beta Sigma Phi news

Two special rituals were held Tuesday evening, March 27, when Laureate Epsilon Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met in the home of Vicki Parker.
Standing before a candlelit table and surrounded by members of the chapter, Tressa Armistead and Brenda Rue heard the solemn ritual read by Linda Ball who was assisted by Sue Gordon. The new pledges were presented their pins and a yellow rose, the sorority flower.

The second solemn candlelit ritual, read by Linda Ball, assisted by Vicki Parker and Jean Lockhart, advanced Sue Gordon to the Exemplar degree. She was presented her new pin and a yellow rose.

Laureate Epsilon Pi is a multi-level chapter with members of all degrees.

Guests present included Karan Heffelfinger and Sandy Young.

Following the rituals Mrs. Parker served almond marbled chocolate pound cake with ice cream, dip with various chips, black olives, and Chex mix accompanied by raspberry tea. She carried out the Easter theme with decorations and serving pieces.

Ann Stapp won the door prize.
